Home Maintenance Inspection

As a homeowner, you know that there’s always something that needs to be fixed. A home maintenance inspection is a routine assessment of your home to check that all its structures and systems are working like they should. It’s the same as a standard home inspection (minus appliances), but it can identify lurking issues that creep up over time. It’s also an opportunity to ask if things like cracked concrete, a window draft, uneven floors, or doors that no longer close properly should be fixed or left alone. You can also have a sewer inspection performed.

Contrary to what you might think, inspections are useful even after the home-buying process is over. Consider making a home maintenance inspection a regular part of your home care routine. It is recommended that homeowners have their home inspected annually. If that seems a little too often, try to at least order a maintenance inspection every 3-5 years.

  • Detect problems early, reducing unnecessary expense
  • An inspector is a neutral 3rd party when costly home repair estimates come in
  • Preserve rental investment property value and ensure proper maintenance
  • Safety and peace of mind

Please note: We do not test appliances during a maintenance inspection. Homeowners typically know the issue(s) with their appliances, but we will inspect the installation of appliances if requested.
